When we exercise, our pores open up and sweat is released, this in turn; can lead to clogged pores and body acne. Your best defense is to make sure you dry off your sweat and shower after exercising.

Tip #2 - Use a gentle soap that is free of alcohol, fragrance, or paraben

It’s possible that the products you use could be causing acne, and your skin can be irritated by the harsh ingredients and chemicals. Be sure to use a gentle soap that is pH balanced, and free of alcohol, fragrance, or parabens to help prevent and treat body acne.

Tip #3 - Use Spray on, water-based gels, and lotion medication on your body acne

It is best to use water-based, gels and lotion medications on body acne. These products are light and absorbed into the skin much faster than creams or ointments. It is also recommended to use spray on medication that may be applied directly to your body acne without coming in contact with clothes.

Tip #4 - Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes.

Wearing tight-fitting clothes can irritate your skin. Tight clothes trap sweat, dead skin cells, and bacteria which can lead to body acne. Choose breathable fabric like cotton and linen for your clothing.
